Prima is a women-run collective based in Naarm, focused on bringing the community together through music while creating space for DJs and artists to shine in their element.

Founded by Sadiva, Prima was built on the belief that good music and a good attitude can bring people together. The collective aims to celebrate Melbourne’s diverse music culture while shining a light on artists and communities that are often overlooked.

Alongside curator EM-P, Prima’s mission is to showcase the Melbourne sound, foster meaningful community connections, and provide opportunities for emerging and underrepresented talent.

With ongoing residencies across venues throughout Melbourne, Prima has quickly established itself as a growing presence in Naarm’s nightlife and cultural landscape.
