Look/Listen is a Melbourne-based label and event collective born from a shared obsession with the spaces where rhythm meets atmosphere. Curated by a close-knit crew of DJs, producers, and visual artists, the collective exists to bridge the gap between the dancefloor and a deeper state of listening. Their sound is a carefully blended spectrum—splicing the hypnotic pulses of dub-infused techno with the textured grit of left-field bass, all while keeping one foot firmly planted in the immersive world of ambient and electro-acoustic experimentation. For Look/Listen, a record is never just a track; it’s a starting point for a journey.

This philosophy finds its natural home in their ongoing monthly residency at The Toff in Town. Nestled behind the cage carriage side. These nights are curated as sonic sanctuaries. Moving beyond the formula of a standard club night, Look/Listen transforms the space into a living room for the discerning listener, where warm, weighty sound systems meet stripped-back visuals.
