Every Tuesday music lovers unite at The Toff for NOW.HERE.THIS.  All about nurturing Melbourne’s rich and dynamic local music community, NHT showcases and celebrates this city’s vibrant jazz scene. 

Doors open from 5pm for cocktails and stage-side dining. Enjoy Happy Hour $15 Cocktails and $9 Pints from 5-7pm.

The live music begins with dinner showcase sets from 7pm. Hudson James Jr. has carefully curated a roster of performers for you to drink, dine and lounge to.

From 9pm sort after Melbourne selector DJ Colette ignited the dancefloor, turning up the heat before a live jazz explosion.

From 11.30pm the stage is alight with the fiery improvisations of musicians hailing from Monash/VCA/Boxhill/RMIT to touring musicians. Vocalists, rappers, dancers, visual artists, and producers from all corners of Melbourne are invited to join in the sonic melee.

The NHT All Star Band is the jazz scene’s answer to a club night with Jesse Chin Quan’s funk-filled bass, Julian Steel’s percussive finesse, and Anthony Farrugia’s scorching guitar licks joining forces to create a rhythm section that’ll make your soul shake. Lewis Hosie and Martin Pang’s keyboard and synth soundscapes take you on a cosmic voyage, while Felix Meredith’s soaring trumpet, Sakiko Goto’s sultry alto sax, and Lachie Daff’s mellow tenor sax will leave you spellbound. All under the soulful leadership of Ed Moon and Monrxe’s velvet vocals.

Each week these gifted musicians lay down a performance you’ll never forget. Come on up and join the movement!
