On Saturday, June 27, the curtains of The Toff part for Ritual: Genesis of the Void, a showcase of uncompromising death metal and industrial filth.

Headlining the evening are Melbourne’s own CARCINOID. Following the overwhelming success of their last opus, Encomium to Extinction, the quintet brings their signature brand of cavernous, doom-laden death metal back to the city heart. With whispers of new desecrations currently circulating in the underground, this set promises a glimpse into the next evolution of their harrowing, mid-tempo devastation.

In a massive coup for the Victoria underground, Queensland’s CRYPTIVORE finally makes their Exclusive Melbourne Debut. Known for a relentless hybrid of old-school death metal and precision grind, Cryptivore has recently laid waste to Brisbane stages alongside the likes of Cavalera and Municipal Waste. This is a rare opportunity to witness their high-velocity brutality south of the border.

Joining the ritual are SUFFERANCE, delivering a blackened, aggressive assault that has become a staple of the local extreme scene, and CHIEF WHIP, who will set the tone with a jagged opening set of industrial doom and power-electronics.
