Exiles, Dreaming Single Launch

About this event

Emerging from Melbourne’s underground, EXILES have built their name on live shows full of energy, sweat-soaked rooms, loud instruments and a sense of belonging.

Drawing from the brooding theatricality of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, the stark minimalism of Joy Division, and the tension of Interpol and Fontaines D.C., EXILES are carving out a sound that is atmospheric, raw and direct.

Following sold-out launches for “Static” and “Persona”, EXILES return with their new single “Dreaming”, set to launch at their biggest Melbourne headline show yet at The Toff on November 28th.

“Dreaming” sees the band take another step forward, bringing a more mature approach, bigger moments and a wider sonic palette while holding onto the urgency that has always sat at the heart of EXILES.

Still rooted in post-punk, the band continue to explore space, tension and atmosphere, creating music that feels equally at home in a packed room as it does through headphones.
